The Showcase: Nike LeBron 9 “Cannon”. Best One? »

I’m sitting next to three of the hottest releases this season and still can’t decide which ones should be #1. Galaxy, China and Cannon make the top 3, of course. All 3 share many similarities, which are the reason for the instant sell outs and the $250+ listing price on eBay. All of them feature a very unique style and a interesting story behind them. Chinas commemorate the Year of the Dragon, Galaxies (All-star) implement the astronomy theme due to Florida’s space industry and the Cannons draw inspiration from U.S. Air Force base at Hurlburt Field. However, if I really had to choose only one I think it would be the Pre-Heat because it’s probably the most versatile of all. LEBRON 9 “Hornets” Coming to a Store Near You on 3/31 »

The Summit Lake Hornets colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 is joining Griffeys, Dunkmans, and Mangos for a late March drop. The popular Purple and Teal combo is scheduled to release on March 31st, 2012. It will most likely be the last version to hit the streets before we move onto the Lows and P.S. Elites. However, Nike LeBron designer Jason Petrie hasn’t ruled out energy releases like for example MVP’s. Are these gonna appear on your shopping list for the next weeks?

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV “Finals” – James Jones PE »

James Jones broke out some serious heat during the NBA All-Star 3-Point Competition, but it’s not the first time. Usually, LeBron’s teammates wear his shoes in GR colorways, but sometimes they also get his PEs. Last year, Jones wore all possible colorways of the Nike Zoom Soldier IV in the regular season, but got hooked up with the [LeBron 8 V/2 Home PE] early in the Playoffs. He even ended up with his own version of the Soldier IV’s for the NBA Finals. Much alike LeBron James’ Finals shoes it was a nice match for the Miami Heat uniforms. Another Look at Nike LeBron “Dunkman” – Different Version »

I’m pretty sure the upcoming Dunkman version of the Nike LeBron 9 will look like this. Black & Volt upper, 3M panels, and two sets of laces. The shoes are scheduled to drop this Friday and you can already find some pairs on eBay. However, the version featured below is slightly different. Everything is the same apart from one small detail. The Dunkman logo, which is located on the back of the shoe, is not the regular Dunkman, but Dunkman X Swingman… same as the one on the Griffeys. Apparently there’s some kind of a story behind it. We’re still waiting for Nike to spill the beans, though.

Upcoming Nike LeBron 9 “Bright Mango” (March 2nd) »

February has been a very busy month with numerous releases including the All-star Game collection, but there’s no time for any breaks just yet. This week Nike is set to release 3 new colorways of the Nike LeBron 9: Dunkman, Griffey and the presented Mango styles. There have been more than enough colorways based on orange this year, but this one features a slightly different shade. Despite Nike has already hinted them to be somewhat limited they are still expected to be widely available. There’s even plenty on eBay right now.

LeBron James Shines in 2012 NBA All-Star Game in Orange Kicks »

The Eastern Conference All-Stars trailed the whole game during the 61st NBA All-Star Game, however, it got incredibly close in the end. Led by LeBron James the Eastern All-stars were able to overcome a 20-point deficit, but came short as the West won 152-149. James had been brilliant with 36 points and six 3-pointers. He’d brought the Eastern Conference back with a ferocious fourth quarter, and, well, everyone was still waiting on him to complete the comeback and blister Bryant, but James turned the ball over with a chance to tie in the final seconds. LeBron wore several colorways of the Nike LeBron 9 during the All-Star weekend, but the most special of all were his Orange glow in the dark shoes, of course. Continue reading for the gallery.

Wearing Brons: LBJ Hooks Up James Jones with Fairfax 9′s »

It must be nice to be teammates with King James for many reasons. One of them is an easy access to his Player Exclusive shoes. Two days ago Norris Cole got a chance to wear LeBron’s Away PE in the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge, but yesterday it was James Jones with the hottest kicks. The defending champion in the 3-point competition wore the Fairfax PE, Home version, which is also an ideal match for the Miami Heat. Jones led all shooters in the opening round with 22, but wasn’t able to repeat in the second round. Close up via lrj23.

Wearing Brons: Tristan Thompson in Soldier V Cavs PE (BBVA Rising Stars Challenge) »

Even though LeBron James has left the Cleveland Cavaliers he still stays connected with the organization is some way. Last night he tweeted “S/O to my lil bros @KyrieIrving & @RealTristan13! Enjoy your 1st of many All-Star weekends”. Kyrie got the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge MVP Away and Tristan Thompson got to wear a special Player Exclusive version of the Nike Air Max Soldier V. The shoe features a bright yellow and wine upper which matches Cavaliers’ new throwback uniforms for this season.
