First Look: Nike LeBron 9 P.S. “ELITE” Wear Test Sample »

Nike is set to release a “pinnacle high-end performance shoe with the style and premium quality expected in LeBron’s signature footwear” in 2012. Slated for the Playoffs and probably the upcoming Olympic Games is the Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite. Technical aspects of the shoe and the luxurious pricing was already unveiled, however, this is the first time we’re seeing the actual shoe. It’s a wear test sample, but it should give us a hint of the final product. As you can see the 9 P.S. is equipped with a 180 Air Max / Zoom Air combo cushioning. All logos have been stripped, as usual.

    These actually have a brand new cushioning. Their is literally Zoom Air inside the Max Air bag. Those cables are low stretch flywire cables. These shoes are packed with nothing but performance!!!! Can’t wait to see actual colorways!

    I know this is just a test sample, but nothing about these pics answers the very important question: Why the heck will these shoes cost $250?!?!

    I believe you get what you pay for, so I’ll drop $250 for a shoe loaded with great tech and materials. But the finished product will have to be WAY, WAY better than this.

    Only thing I see that is different from info and actual shoe is the cushioning. On the shoe it says Zoom Max but info just says air max heel and zoom air forefoot
