Miami Heat Dominate Orlando in Home Opener. LeBron Wears Chinas. »

LeBron James stayed fairly quiet when the Orlando Magic questioned his competitiveness this summer. James and his new team presented an emphatic response Friday night. Dwyane Wade scored 26 points in Miami’s home opener, James had 15 points and seven assists and the Heat scored the first 14 points of the second half to turn a close game into a surprisingly one-sided 96-70 victory over the Magic. King James introduced the Nike LeBron 8 China exclusive, which thanks to the White & Red theme is a perfect match with Miami’s Home jerseys.

Nike Air Max LeBron 8 – White & Red China Alternate Miami Heat »

Although the release of the China exclusive has been postponed, it seems like there’s another colorway coming, which also implements the White and Red theme. It could be a new edition personalized for the Miami Heat. It’s different than the Chinese version and also different from the Sample version posted by Footlocker a while ago. The new style (103) and two older models share couple features like for example the speckled air max unit and a translucent outsole. However, it sports the lion head logo on the tongue and LeBron James’ signature on the back. Additionally, this colorway comes with red laces and a prominent red lining on the upper. DJ Clark Kent x Nike Air Max LeBron VII “112″ Detailed Photos »

DJ Clark Kent is close friends with Nike, therefore he’s usually the person behind many leaks and samples. Recently, he unveiled the Air Max LeBron VII Low in Miami themed colors, long before Jason Petrie introduced them to the world. He’s also the creator of the 112 Pack (inspired by Brooklyn) characterized by the use of Black&Green colors, a 3M reflective material and the famous elephant print. We previed the shoes back in March, however, it took more than six months for new photos to surface. Unfortunately, the shoes never dropped. Miami’s Big Three Stuggles in Opener. LBJ Debuts Nike LeBron 8. »

The Miami HEAT’s season did not start as many would have hoped, as they lost 88-80 to the Boston Celtics. Dwyane Wade and LeBron James were making uncharacteristically bad turnovers (14 combined). The old Big Three of the Boston Celtics, playing under the franchise’s 17 title banners, beat the new Big Three of James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. The Heat, though, knew it would take time to jell. “It’s a feel-out process,” James said. “When you have so many options, it’s something I’m not accustomed to, having that many threats out on the court at the same time.” “This is one of 82,” said Wade, whose preseason action was limited to the first three minutes because of a strained right hamstring. “Sorry if everyone thought we were going to go 82-0. It just ain’t happening.” King James, who scored a game high 31 points, debuted his latest Nike sneakers – the LeBron 8, which are available in stores since yesterday.

Nike LeBron 8 China Exclusive Delayed. December 7th, 2010. »

Originally slated to release today along with the launch colorway, the Nike LeBron 8 China Exclusive has been postponed. The sad news and new release date has been just provided by Footlocker. The Chinas will drop on December 7th, 2010 in the U.S. This limited edition will be most likely available at House of Hoops stores, so maybe it’s time to pull the trigger and order a pair from overseas via f.e. kix-files.com or rmkstore.com. Fortunately their prices are fair these days, so apart from the extra waiting period it’s a nice deal. In the meantime, check out the new photos courtesy of RaNdZ4937.

Nike Zoom LeBron III Hybrid featuring 360 Air Max Bottom »

During the launch of the Sole Collector x Jordan CMFT Max 11, that took place this past weekend, one of the staff members wore a very interesting hybrid shoe. It’s the Nike Zoom LeBron III with Zoom Air cushioning swapped for the running specific Air Max system. This custom build look very interesting and makes us wonder… what if… other LeBron shoes would be customized this way. It’s still unclear if it’s a custom job or an unseen Nike sample, but either way the end result is very nice. Sole swapping is a popular practice among hardcore sneakerheads.
