Nike Air Max LeBron VIII Black/White/Red L23 Logo Sample »

I hope all of our readers know this by know, but when you’re reading release information on Footlocker’s official blog please remember that most of their stuff presents sample models. The same rule applies here. They have just posted new images featuring the upcoming Black/White/Red version of the Air Max LeBron VIII, but their model is a sample. Notice that the L23 logo is still present, when even the latest colorways of the Soldier IV have upgraded to the Lionhead insignia. Also, the Samples have Gold details including the previously mentioned L23 logo. At least the date has been confirmed as the launch colorway will be released on 10/26.

Nike Air Max LeBron VIII (8) USAB White/Navy/Red Actual Photos »

Here’s another batch of photos presenting the USA Basketball inspired colorway of the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII. As mentioned before, the USA VIII’s are slated for a late November release (11/24). Yesterday, we previewed Nike’s packaging for the LBJ8 China Exclusive and I’m pretty sure it will stay the same for all GR models. I love LBJ’s black drawer boxes… they make it so easy to organize shoes. The new graphic of LeBron and his beast representative is very cool. Nicely done! Now, as we know the first part of the LeBron VIII lineup, it’s time to make some pick up plans and mark your calendars. Personally, the White/Navy/Red version is one of my favorites. Last year, we didn’t get a similar colorway that would pass as a national version. The White & Navy style is usually released, but the VII didn’t have that USA feel to it. The contrasting red tongue was a questionable call, but would you change it or do you like it this way?

LeBron James & D. Wade & C. Bosh – NBA 2010-11 Media Day »

The Miami Heat have officially kicked off the 2010-2011 Training Camp by participating in Media Day at the University of Miami. The Heat will start their workout Tuesday at Hurlburt Field, a U.S. Air Force installation in Florida’s Panhandle. Yesterday, LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade were interviewed by NBA and posed for some pictures. King James sported his newest signatute kicks – Nike LeBron 8 – unlike in July (during his welcoming party) when he presented his new no. 6 jersey wearing some basic Nikes.
