Nike Air Max LeBron VIII (8) GS – Black/White/Red – First Look »

It didn’t take long for full sized pics to surface the Internet. This time it’s the classic Black/White/Red colorway of the upcoming Nike Air Max LeBron VIII. The proportions suggest it’s also a Kids shoe. This time, however, there’s no L23 logo so it’s possible it’s one of the later samples. Additionally, LeBron’s signature, which is placed on the back of the shoe is new. The old one had #23 in it, so it had to change as well. Apart from that the main logo seems to be the Lionhead, which sits on the top of the tongue. Too bad there’s no Dunkman anywhere on the shoes. I was hoping that would take over the LeBron James line since the old logo needs to go. The Air Max unit has been slightly redesigned. Carbon fiber / Flywire panels on the upper look very interesting. How do you like the AMLVIII?

    Im with the first guy…idk i mean its a good looking shoe but…thats it? Where the exciting features or new look come on nikee i think a signature shoe needs an extra feature like a strap. I miss the strap shoes. I think the lebron IV is the best looking lebron shoe so imagine that with flywire and a 360 air max unit. They should do something like that

    Dopeness! These kicks are flames…all they gotta do is take the suede off the sho and throw on a a black gator or snake skin leather pattern or just a black cracked leather, and throw on lebrons dunkman or something..u cant just look and know its bron

    HELL NO! They look kinda like Nike Air Max Lebron VII. It has the same thing Air Max. Why not Nike Company make a better technology that is BEYOND!? Why don?t Nike Company combine 3 technology to 1 ? WHAT!? Air Max, Zoom Air, Shox! Then call it ?Nike Air Zoom Shox Lebron?. That will be a BAD ASS Technology!

    I think they look fat and wide> Majority ugly they won’t sell for real. Too bulky and plain.

    I think the proportions are off cause it’s a Kids shoe. Mens should look much better. Also, I hope that suede material on the upper goes away. I would prefer tumbled leather or even ballistic mesh :)

I HATE IT! a very generic design, can you nike people do something with more shock value? i love brons man, but this design is old, looks like the zoomlebron 2. the 5,6 and 3 are cool designs, hope u do more drafts and sketches, try harder NIKE PEOPLE! make the fans and consumers proud!

    The swoosh is too far back on the shoe. The front 2/3′s of the shoe looks empty, but maybe it’s just the color that’s making it seem that way. The back of the shoes are fire. Such a good look but the sides is just… ehhh.

    These look like a toned down version of the VII’s..way too bulky looking too. Just not feeling it, maybe they’ll grow on me.

    I agree, they should’ve dropped the Swoosh completely IMO, that would really enhance the details of this design.
