First Look at the REAL MVP NIKE AIR MAX LEBRON VII. Updated! »

Like we’ve stated before the low-top MVP’s were just a commemorative shoe for the Most Valuable Player ceremony. And just like we’ve mentioned it on twitter earlier today, LeBron James laced up his real MVP shoes for tonight’s game… the Nike Air Max LeBron VII, of course. It’s a plain and simple colorway featuring Cavs’ native Crimson, White and Gold colors with a big MVP logo on the back of the shoe. It’s reminiscent of the MVPuppets LBJ 7 P.S. as it uses the same fuzzy materials and a similar color blocking. Enjoy the freshest pics below. Hopefully, we will get a better look soon.

Nike LeBron VII (7) Post Season Triple Black Wear Test Sample »

We definitely can’t complain about an overwhelming number of colorways regarding LeBron’s new shoes – Nike LeBron VII P.S. Something we’ve been used to do for the last couple years. Nike’s played things safe by releasing only three common styles plus one special (upcoming SLH version). We’re still hoping for more shoes from LBJ’s signature shoes collection to drop, sooner rather than later, but so far there’s no such information available. Here’s an unreleased Wear Test Sample featuring a simple Black on Black color blocking with P.S’s clear outsole trademark. Via DJCK.

Recap from LeBron James’ MVP Ceremony. It’s all About Loyalty. »

LeBron James received 116 of a possible 123 first-place votes to win in a landslide for the Most Valuable Player award. He joined Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Moses Malone, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan and Steve Nash on a who’s-who list of back-to-back winners. Once again, LBJ celebrated the achievement in style. This time the MVP party took place at the University of Akron. It will officially go down as a Most Valuable Player award ceremony. But in truth, it was a love-in, a community gathering, a chance for Akron to salute its favorite son and for its favorite son to big up his hometown. Thousands of fans, scores of them wearing LeBron James jerseys, chanted “M-V-P! M-V-P!” every chance they got. Hundreds of friends, family members and sponsors turned out to show their support for the world’s greatest basketball player. And the superstar himself spoke of Akron as if it were some sort of utopia, declaring his commitment to the place nearly half-a-dozen times. Continue reading for a photo recap from yesterday’s coronation. Special thanks to KDogLBJ23 for sending the pics.
