Big-Z Comes Back. Cavs Top Kings Behind LeBron’s 34-7-8. »
The Cleveland Cavaliers welcomed back its adored center – Zydrunas Ilgauskas – on Sunday, honoring the big man best known as “Z” throughout the Cavaliers’ 97-90 win over the undermanned Sacramento Kings. As LeBron James joked, “It was the second-most anticipated comeback besides Michael Jordan.” Four Cavaliers notched double-figures, led by LeBron’s 34 points. The reigning MVP went 13-for-22 from the floor, adding eight assists, seven boards and three steals. James netted 23 of his game-high 34 in the second half. Cleveland currently holds league’s best W-L record with 58-16, three games ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers. Thier next four foes are Eastern Conference playoff teams, beginning with Wednesday’s night battle with the Bucks.
