LeBron James is Top Vote-getter for 2010 NBA All-Star in Dallas »

LeBron James was the leading vote-getter for the Feb. 14 game at Cowboys Stadium, becoming the first player to earn at least 2.5 million votes three times (2,549,793). He will make his sixth All-Star appearance, all as a starter. “The fans still love and see what I do every night and they appreciate it, and I appreciate them for electing me as an All-Star starter,” James said before the Cavaliers hosted the Los Angeles Lakers. “It’s still special.” Joining James as East starters were Miami guard Dwyane Wade, Orlando center Dwight Howard, Boston forward Kevin Garnett and Philadelphia’s Allen Iverson. Lakers guard Kobe Bryant was picked in the West along with Phoenix center Amare Stoudemire and Denver forward Carmelo Anthony while Steve Nash and Tim Duncan made late moves to claim starting spots for the Western Conference.

Throwback Thursday: Zoom LeBron V Home PE “Velvet” Gold Laces »

During the 2007-2008 NBA Season, LeBron James laced up only two Player Exclusives of the Nike Zoom LeBron V (Cavs’ HWC and Home PEs). Below there’s one of them. Back then we didn’t get to see any White and Red based colorways reach the public. They were reserved for King James only. We profiled the Home Suede ZLV PE couple years back, however, when I was given a chance to re-take some photos of my LeBron shoes I didn’t have to think twice. Actually, it’s probably the most special pair from my personal collection (kudos to Nike for help!). You probably have seem them equipped with a pair of Crimson laces, but for this showcase we did a switch to alternative Gold strings. The Velvet LBJ5′s feature Cavs’ native – White/Crimson/Gold – team colors. LeBron’s LRJ logo is placed on the back of the shoe marking this Player Exclusive version. Upcoming 375664-011 Black/White-Metallic Gold LBJ7 New Photos »

The next two colorways of the Nike Max LeBron VII, that are about to hit stores very soon, are All-Star and Black/White/Gold colorways. This reminds me of the Zoom LeBron V when the All-Star and the Black/White/Gold V’s also dropped at pretty much the same time (4 days apart – 2/8 and 2/12). This year it’s very similar. We also get two VII’s within a four days span (2/12 and 2/16), but this time the ASG shoe will be first. Again, Nike paired a Black, White and Gold style with a limited edition All-Star Game shoes. Pretty interesting. Anyway, the official RD for the 375664-011 is February 16th, 2009. It’s possible they will drop in Europe too, as they have just popped up at schuh-you.com. Preview of the Cool Grey/Varsity Royal-White Air Max LeBron VII »

Last month, we mentioned about three upcoming Cool Grey based colorways of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII. For those who keep track, there are actually four Cool Grey VII’s coming soon, but this pair is not a part of the “Team Pack”… it’s a regular LeBron James signature shoe (375664), which btw is slated to drop in March. Other than that those three shiny team friendly LBJ7′s are expected to drop in the upcoming months and they are most likely to be an Eastbay exclusive. We already previewed the Orange pair (several times), but today we finally get a good look at the Varsity Royal sample. Be on the lookout and keep checking eastbay as it shouldn’t be long now.
