Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) – NBA All Star 2010 – First Look »

February the 14th, is the date when the next NBA All Star Game will take place in front of an expected crowd of 80000, at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. Fans are already voting, trying to get their favorites in the starting five. Based on the votes they received so far, Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony are leading the way in the West, while LeBron James and Dwyane Wade top the Eastern Conference. Usually, the All-Star game is a perfect occasion for athletes to showcase their shoes. As always LeBron James will sport a personalized version of his signature shoes – the Air Max LeBron VII in this case. Photos presenting the All-Star VII have surfaced the Internet. Apparently, it’s a Light Blue/Black colorway featuring a 3M reflective pattern. First thoughts?

Nike Zoom Soldier IV (4) TB – White/Navy Sample New Photos »

Following up on the Zoom Soldier IV, check out new photos presenting another Team colorway in White and Navy. Team Banks are designed to blend in, so hopefully the signature version will be more prominent and is going to highlight the identity of the shoe. Everything is there, the L23/Lion logo on the tongue, the Dunkman on the back, a big Nike Swoosh on the strap, but maybe a good colorway is needed to bring the shoe to life. The previous installment had it both, looks and performance, so let’s hope the new version will be just as good. It’s not the first time a shoe is criticized right from the start, but usually all it takes is to see it in person in order to fully appreciate its beauty. Enjoy new photos after the break.

Nike Zoom Soldier IV (4) TB – White/Green Sample New Photos »

Clearly, the upcoming Nike Zoom Soldier IV is not your favorite. I don’t blame you. First of all it’s very difficult to top the ZSIII. The shoe was a beast on court. You can see that in our wearing brons segment as many players around the league are currently wearing them. Check back this weekend for a new episode. Also, there were many great colorways… couple energy releases, and even LeBron seems to like em a lot as he’s been seen lacing them up for his pre-game warm ups this season. The ZSIV is heading a different direction though. Ditching the 2x Zoom Air cushioning for a Zoom Air/Max Air combo is in favor of LeBron as it’s supposed to protect his bigger frame. However, it’s possible LBJ won’t wear them this post-season as he had us accustomed to, because the appearance of the Nike LeBron VII P.S. might change that pattern.
