First Look at the LeBron Soldier IV Featuring Zoom Air and Lunarite »

This season it’s all about the fresh breath approach that’s been applied into the LeBron James signature line. There were many firsts regarding the release of the LeBron VII – first time Air Max cushioning, first time Flywire material, and now we will witness the Lunar Lite foam also for the very first time. The upcoming, fourth installment of the Soldier line features Zoom Air / Lunar Lite cushioning, which may be a little surprising at first. After all, LBJ7 was equipped with the 360 degree Max Air unit in order to deliver maximum impact protection for LeBron James, so it’s hard to imagine the new Zoom Soldier IV being able to do that. It’s possible LBJ won’t wear the Soldier IV in the Playoffs this year though. Let’s wait and see how the story unfolds and for now let’s enjoy the new photos. First thoughts? Do you like Nike’s latest creation? UPDATE: These might not be the actual Soldier IV’s, but still one of LBJ’s next sigs. Stay tuned for more updates.

Wearing Brons – Nate Robinson Rocking the Birthday LeBron IV »

Nate Robinson has been known to wear popular signature shoes from time to time including Kobes, LeBrons, and other Nike basketball sneakers. Usually he utilizes Nike iD to customize his kicks (Kobe IV, Zoom BB II) in order to match ‘em with Knicks vibrant colors. However, it’s not that easy to do with LBJs. There’s no shortcut for personalizing LeBron’s kicks and that’s probably why he’s been seen wearing universal all Black colorways (f.e. ZLIV and ZLVI). Fortunatelly, one of Cleveland’s Hardwood Classic themes is a mirrored style of the NYK native colors. While most of HWC Nike LeBron shoes are Player Exclusives, there’s one exception that did make it all the way to retail – Zoom LeBron IV Birthday Limited Edition. In yesterday’s game against the Orlando Magic, Nate sported the Bday IV’s and as you might have guessed it was a perfect match. Stay tuned for James’ response as Cavs are about to kick off their latest Hardwood Classics campaign on Wednesday, December 2nd. Luckily enough their new HWC jerseys look like this. If LeBron is going to New York in 2010 he won’t run out off NYC themed kicks… that’s for sure.

Wearing Brons – Spike Lee Showing Some NY Yankees Love in L.A. »

Prior to LeBron’s only visit to MSG this season, Nike unveiled a special New York Yankees edition of the Air Max LeBron VII. Although King James laced up the Red Carpet colorway for the occasion, he did break out the Yankee PE couple days later. The New York themed LBJ7 is also available to public, but it doesn’t include the unique lasering added on the toebox commemorating Yankees’ 27th World Series title. Last week, Spike Lee was spotted wearing the Player Exclusive version in a game between the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers. Looking good, but I am not so sure about that pants.

They don’t drop for another three weeks so whoever have been waiting for the premiere will be happy to learn that the Phantom Nike LeBron VII has hit pickyourshoes.com and it’s available now under retail ($145 shipped). The Phantom VII, which takes inspiration from one of LBJ’s rides – Rolls Royce Phantom, features a Black upper with Gold details, but unlike LeBron James’ PE doesn’t sport the outlined swoosh. Click here for more photos of the actual version, which will drop nationwide on December 17th, 2009.

Max LeBron VII Christmas / Birthday Limited Quickstrike »

Since the Air Max LeBron VII was introduced to the public, we haven’t really seen any new colorways apart from seeing the announced ones hit the stores. December is always special, since it’s LeBron James’ birthday, so we should expect something extraordinary on the market. Last season, the Chalk Six was the #1 shoe. This year, Nike is set to release an exceptional Chrismas edition of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII – 375664-600. Dubbed also as the Birthday colorway, this LBJ7 features a gradient Black and Crimson upper with a big White Nike swoosh and a special set of Christmasy insoles (reminiscent of the XMas ZLVI GS). Stay tuned for more information regarding the shoes. For now let’s enjoy the new pics.

Detailed Look at the Recently Released Navy Air Max LeBron VII »

If you’re not satisfied with catalog pics floating online you’ve come to the right place. Here on NLB.net crispy photos are always a top priority. Couple days ago Nike released the second GR colorway of LeBron James’ latest signature shoe – Nike Air Max LeBron VII. Unlike the Black, White and Red, this new White and Navy style features the hologram decoder key on the outsole and comes with an additional set of red laces… just like the Red Carpets do. The most characteristic thing about them are seven red Flywire threads on the medial side of the shoe. Matching Cavs’ alternate unis and also Team USA native colors, the Navy colorway is always a favorite among fans. Check these new detailed photos thanks to Niketalk’s Jordan23 4xL.

LeBron Anatomy – Zoom LeBron VI w/Double Stacked Zoom Air »

Seeing is much better than believing. We always read about the amazing technology inside Nike shoes, but for those who are curious how does that really turns out check out the rest of this post. There are several pics showing the Zoom LeBron VI’s cushioning setup including the full-length Zoom Air and the double stacked unit at the heel. When I get multiple pairs of the given shoe I always wonder about cutting one up, but in the end I don’t have the stomach for that. Just can’t do it. Big props to NikeTalk’s VelvetHoop for performing this heart breaking operation.

Second Look at the White / Varsity Red Nike Max LeBron VII (7) NFW »

It takes very good photos in order to truly appreciate a new colorway especially when you can’t see the shoes in person. On Monday we profiled the upcoming White and Red Nike Air Max LeBron 7 with just a few pics, but today we go into the details with this new showcase. Since LeBron James is playing for the Cavaliers the White and Red combo on his sneakers is not something unusual, but as always gives a very clean look. Joining the Red Carpet VII, the Cavs Home version features a NFW upper. I still can’t decide which one is a better look… Flywire or NFW? What do you think? Stay tuned to NikeLeBron.net for more news, possible release dates and more.
