Nike Air Max LeBron VII – More Than a Game – DC Exclusive Showcase »

Everything has been already said about Nike’s More Than a Game shoes and we wouldn’t like to repeat ourselves. Today we would like to share couple new photos presenting the Washington Limited Edition. There are 10 different shoes, one for each city from the MTAG World Tour, and all of them feature the same colorway. I hope nobody is trying to get them all, cause that would have been very difficult. Especially, getting the overseas – Europe and Asia – editions would be a hard task since fans over there are more likely to keep their pairs instead of flipping them for money. The Washington D.C. style represents “Community” and has an image of the SVSM team in a huddle with cheering fans in the background. We have several detailed pictures available for your viewing pleasure after the jump. Enjoy! Shout out to Nike for making them available for this photoshoot.

Air Max LeBron VII Triple Black aka “Phantom” New Release Date »

LeBron James’ seventh signature shoe, from the numbered series, officially released on October 24th, 2009 and was very well received by hoop fans. Those, who look forward to other colorways, can mark December 17th, 2009 in their calendars. On that day the third General Release version will hit the streets. The second GR – White and Navy – will drop in November. New pics of the All Black Air Max LeBron VII have sufaced the Internet. One week ago, when we profiled this colorway we announced the 12/3 as the official RD, but it’s most likely to be pushed back to 12/17. Btw which version do you like better? The GR, which is pictured below or this sample, which is reminiscent to LeBron James’ Player Exclusive version worn on the opening night. The All Black Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) was inspired by one of Bron’s rides – Rolls Royce Phantom. More pics of both shoes and the car after the break.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Alternate Sample – White Bottoms »

With the Air Max LeBron VII out on the streets it’s time for us to catch up with the sample versions that have surfaced. I’m sure all of our readers are aware of the hologram issue. Call me crazy, but I think it was an intentional play on Nike’s end to throw off bootleggers. Last year the Nike Zoom Power turned out to be a very useful tool to disguise the real Zoom LeBron VI, which gave the Swoosh the needed advantage and made fake makers late. I wouldn’t be surprised if most fake VII’s had the holograms while Nike GR’s plain L23 logo on the sole. We’ve updated the Air Max LeBron VII Listing with pics of both sample and production models and there’s yet another sample version of the White, Black and Red colorway. Our friends at Kicks On Fire labeled it as Footaction’s GR, but as you can see on this photo and others below it’s different from what’s really in stores. White sole, Red Swoosh on the medial side, and different L23 logo at heel is what sets them apart. Click the title to see more photos.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low: White/Black/Red & White/Gum »

Not so long ago we previewed the upcoming Low Top edition of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII, which is set to debut during the Summer 2010. We profiled several catalog pics featuring very interesting colorways and some actual footage of the Wear Test Sample has leaked the Internet as well. Today, we’ve got another dose of LeBron VII Low real photos featuring two styles – regular White/Black/Red and unseen before White/Gum. New pics tell a little bit more about the shoes. There’s no Flywire, there’s no 360 Max Air unit, which was replaced by a Visible Air unit at the heel, but there’s definitely King James style present. With these new photos the LBJ7 Low seems much more appealing. Or is it just me? I hope they are as comfortable as they look.

Throwback Thursday: Nike Air Zoom Generation L.A. All-Star PE »

If you ask LeBron James, which shoe in the Nike LBJ series is his favorite he will most likely say “gotta be the first one” or something in that manner. That was the answer for me when I submitted the question via the Nike Air Max LeBron VII Media Summit webcast back in August. Who wouldn’t be nostalgic about your first signature shoe, especially when you got one at the age of 18 years old! The Nike Air Zoom Generation was a perfect way to start things off. The shoes were rather safe… I wouldn’t like to ball in them nowadays, but there’s definitely more to it than plain design and decent ballin’ kicks. Even people at Nike were surprised with how well the AZG’s aka LeBron I’s were received by fans. The release of James’ shoe was the company’s most successful shoe launch in two years, surpassing that of the Jordan XVII and XVIII. At Finish Line, which at the moment of release had 541 stores across the country, 75 percent of their total nationwide allotment of James’ Air Zoom Generations were sold out in the first week of sales in late December (via ESPN). The initial release of LBJ’s shoe, in the black and white, has sold more than 100,000 pairs to date. Too bad the colorway you see below – the All-Star edition – never made it to public. It almost did, but just in the last minuted Nike pulled them off once they leanrt he didn’t make the squad. He was fourth in fan voting among guards in the Eastern Conference, but didn’t get voted in by the coaches. Couple nice pics after the break.

Red Carpet Preview: Nike Air Max LeBron VII NFW (No FlyWire) »

The Red Carpet and Black / Altitude Green LeBron VIIs are two of the most anticipated colorways to drop. Too bad there is no concrete information available at the moment. Red Carpets are expected to release in November with no exact date specified. We’ve just received couple new photos from one of our readers John, who was kind enough to share his new kicks with other LeBron fans. The White/Black-Baltic Blue aka Red Carpet (a reference to King’s glamorous life) unlike all other models doesn’t feature the Flywire material. All this gives an impression that its destiny is casual wear instead of basketball, but we will know more about the consequences soon. Also, the shoes come in with two pairs of laces… Black and Red…. if someone wants to make them pop. Click the title to see more pics.

Still Not Enough. LeBron Scores a Triple Double, but Cavs Fail to Win. »

“Every season is its own and you approach it like that,” said LeBron James. “We just have some things to iron out. I don’t think it’s a big problem; it’s early in the season and we’ll get it corrected.” When the reigning MVP speaks, people listen. And the Cavaliers, as LeBron said, have some things to iron out. It’s only two games into the 2009-10 season, but the Cavaliers could use a little of last year’s magic. On Tuesday night – after dropping only two home games all of last year – they fell to the Celtics at The Q. On Wednesday, they fell prey to a Raptors team they’d beaten five straight. As they had the night before, the Wine and Gold clawed their way back after allowing Toronto to run their lead to as many as 21 points. But Cleveland used up too much fuel on the comeback, and the Raptors ran away with it ? 101-91. One night after dropping 38 points on the Celtics, LeBron James posted his 25th career triple-double – finishing with a team-high 23 points to o with 12 assists and 11 boards. James was 7-for-19 from the floor and 8-of-14 from stripe.

Cavs Lose in the Season Opener. LeBron Breaks out the Black VII. »

Before Tuesday night’s home opener, LeBron James predicted that it might take a little while for the new-look Cavaliers to find their groove. Turns out, LeBron was both the evening’s best player ? pouring in 38 points ? and also its wisest prognosticator. After an uneven preseason, the Cavaliers have not found their groove. The good news is: they have 81 more games to do so. Cleveland jumped out to a two-touchdown lead midway through the first quarter, but less than four minutes into the second period, Boston had clawed back to tie the affair at 32. The Celtics would eventually run their lead to 15 before a late Wine and Gold rally fell short ? and held on to hand the Cavaliers their second straight opening night loss, 95-89. BTW… the seventh point LeBron James scored on Tuesday give him 13,000 for his career. As always, that makes him the youngest player to do so at just 24 years, 301 days of age. As for the kicks… LeBron finally broke out the Air Max LeBron VII in the Black and Gold colorway.
