Project Bluefoot / LeBron James Design Competition with JP and Kenzo »

Hey LeBron fans! Wanna design a pair of Nike shoes for King James? Here’s your chance. The next Project Bluefoot: Intelligent Design Competition challenge is here. Design a high-performance, Nike Basketball signature shoe for The King – LeBron James. The winner gets a pair of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII’s, but he also gets to be judged by Nike’s finest: Jason Petrie, Senior Footwear Designer at Nike Basketball & architect of the latest rendition in the LeBron James signature line, the Nike Air Max LeBron VII and Ken Link, Former Creative Director at Nike Basketball and Nike Lebron II-VI Designer. Apart from designing a basketball signature shoe for LBJ, Project Bluefoot holds a mini competition for a lifestyle shoe. Deadline for both contests is October, 15th and 10th respectively. Air Max LeBron VII Official Release Date Nike Basketball Taiwan »

The global premiere of LeBron James’ seventh signature sneaker will take place on October 24th, 2009. The limited edition “More Than a Game” sneakers are about to end their World Tour with the final stop in Los Angeles next weekend. Three weeks before the official release date, Asia fans will get to enjoy the China Exclusive (October 3rd), but they must wait one week longer for the initial version. There’s no word if they’re gonna drop in the U.S at this point. Also, there are some rumors about the Red Velvet edition releasing in the first week of October as a Quickstrike, but that hasn’t been confirmed just yet. Finally, the White and Navy Nike Air Max LeBron VII will hit stores in November (11/12). Read on for pics of each version.

Zoom LBJ Ambassador II O.R.A.P Release Date Nike Taiwan »

The Zoom LBJ Ambassador II is about to make its debut. Among several colorways scheduled to be released this season the first three will drop in the upcoming weeks starting next month. The classic White/Black/Red version will premiere on the 1st of October… followed by the SVSM look-a-like and clean Black/White/Gold in the first week of November. Preview all three after the break.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Artist Series New York City by Matsu »

This weekend in the heart of NYC, LeBron James was presented with the Artist Series of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII customized by a local artist – Matsu. The New York More Than a Game Artist Collaboration LeBron VII is labeled as “Fearless” and features over 700 Swarovski crystals (each one glued by hand!). This unique design consists of numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 and they serve to represent the idea of reincarnation in the Japanese Buddhist tradition. More photos and information after the jump.
