Traditionally, on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes and pomelos together. Also, Chinese folk symbols of good luck and all wishes come true, represent Chinese fans’ wishing The King success in the new season. Nike Zoom LeBron VI Low White/White-Medium Grey Showcase »

Last year, we didn’t get to enjoy an all white colorway of the Zoom LeBron V Low. Of course the ZLV wasn’t as appealing as this year’s model. However, with The Six Nike went back to the roots and released this ultra clean style. At least for the Low Top version, cause the Mids didn’t get the honor. Fans are still rooting for an all white Air Max LeBron VII to drop and hopefully Nike is listening. Back in the day, when the Zoom LeBron II Low changed the way how people feel about low top basketball sneakers, there were only two colorways available to public – all black and all white. Of course, nowadays we are able to choose from about ten different versions, but it’s good to have the classics among them. The White/White-Medium Grey Nike Zoom LeBron VI Low is an ideal summer colorway, that goes well with everything. And if you’ve been following LeBron James this summer you’ve seen him wear it a lot too. View the pictures after the break.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Artist Series Los Angeles by C.R. Stecyk III »

Today, at a presentation that took place during Nike’s grassroots activities in Los Angeles, C.R. Stecyk III gave James an uniquely designed pair of Air Max LeBron VII shoes. Stecyk took his inspiration for the one-of-a-kind shoes from the city of Los Angeles, paying homage to the new monuments of urban shift in the city. The multiplicities of LA are reflected on the surfaces of the shoe. It is clad in colors derived from the region’s natural hues such as the incandescent blues of the sky and the rich rusty bronze of the clay soil of the Pueblo. Sole theatrics can be glimpsed on the inside where a hand engraved metallic plate view of Los Angeles City Hall is located as a symbolic tribute to the city’s center. Unique elements of the extended city such as the palm trees and telephone poles which sometimes function as basketball standards can be viewed on the exterior. “There are countless thousands of places to shoot hoops that range from makeshift defacto rims to full blown arenas,” said Stecyk, adding, “Basketball is an integral fact of the populace’s life — in LA it is literally the sport of the people.”

Nike Air Max LeBron VII White/Midnight Navy-Varsity Red »

Mark down November 12th, 2009 in your calendars. That’s when this beautiful pair of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII hits the stores in Asia, but since it’s a global release the U.S. date should be around the same. This White/Navy/Red/Gold LBJ7 was featured in the Nike Pro Combat commercial matching USA Basketball jersey, but it’s just as good match with Cavs’ alternate uniforms. The word on the street is Nike won’t be dropping the VII in over twenty different colorways like they did with previous LeBron shoes. We should expect a smaller number of pairs available to public. Even if it’s true we’ve seen almost 10 styles already and as we all know there are gonna be some special energy releases at House of Hoops.

The MTAG World Tour is about to hit its final stop in Los Angeles this Saturday. There will be a screening of the “More Than a Game” at Pacific Theater at the Grove (11 AM) and of course the main event, which is Nike Basketball Community Day at Hollywood and Highland Center (11 AM – 6 PM). Awaiting the final limited edition of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII – both City and Artist Series – let’s take a closer look at the NYC pair. Hopefully, Nike will finish the World Tour in the U.S. on a high note, cause so far the best MTAG’s were in Asia (Shenyang City VII) and Europe (Paris Artist Series).

Throwback Thursday: Zoom Power LBJ6 Prototype Showcase »

We profiled the Zoom Power on several occasions. It was even mentioned in our Nike Zoom LeBron VI Review. Click here to see an in-depth presentation of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI Prototype. Over a year has passed since Nike unveiled their mysterious plan and scrapped the Zoom Power on account of the newer version, which we all know as The Real Six. Fortunately, this year there’s no confusion and some of the fans get to enjoy the latest LeBron James signature shoe even though it’s only September. Looking back at both Zoom LeBron VI and Zoom Power do you think Nike made the right decision by changing the design? The colorway potential of the ZLVI, which led to the creation of many amazing styles, doesn’t hurt its case… that’s for sure. As for the ZP only three versions have surfaced the Internet. Click the title to see them all.
