Chicago Exclusive Nike Air Max LeBron VII “MTAG” New Photos »

It’s exciting that the latest LeBron James signature sneaker is about to make its debut. The sad thing is… only a handful of people will get to enjoy these. Every time a limited edition of Nike LeBron shoes is about to hit the streets resellers come out from the dark seeing an opportunity for some crazy profits. All this hurts us… real LBJ fans. The hype gets even bigger when we’re talking about the Max LeBron VII, which is slated for a official world wide premiere in October. Browsing through ebay you can see several unreal listings, but let’s not give in… knowing Nike we will get a chance to buy more amazing colorways… for a NORMAL price. For now let’s enjoy these new pics featuring the Nike Air Max VII “More Than a Game” Chicago Edition as more details has been unveiled.

More Than a Game Tour: Chicago – LBJ Documentary Screening »

The film “More Than a Game” is set to release in the fall (October), and follows the early basketball careers of LeBron James and his childhood teammates. To commemorate the LeBron James documentary Nike has prepared a special MTAG World Tour with special edition Air Max LeBron 7 sneakers and screenings of the film. Chicago is the first stop on the tour and yesterday the first screening took place. Our buddy FLINTGREY, who was on the site, and was kind enough to share some photos. Check out a special More Than a Game T-Shirt plus one special make up of LeBron’s previous signature shoe worn by one of Nike Reps.

Chicago “Family, Loyalty” LBJ VII Drops Today at House of Hoops »

This special release of the Lebron VII, dedicated to Chicago and tying into the upcoming film “More Than a Game” will drop at the House of Hoops Chicago today. Sor far the only confirmed locations are HOHCHI and Nike Town. 123 pairs total will be released. This is just the first of out 10 different shoes, each for one city, on the MTAG Tour. The shoe has a white leather and patent upper, with green/white gradient mesh crossed with flywire. The gold Swoosh on the lateral side is painted on in typical Hyperdunk/Kobe IV fashion, but the medial side has it knocked out of the white leather to reveal more gradient beneath. Just behind the Swoosh is another window in the leather giving way to an image of Lebron and high school teammates at St. Vincent St. Mary. A green speckle mid-sole sits above the 360 max air with gold-lettered “Chicago” at the heel. A patch with the words “More Than a Game” is sewn on the inside of the tongue.
