Throwback Thursday: Nike Zoom LeBron Low ST Gloria PEs (x4) »

In this week’s edition of Throwback Thursday we’d like to focus on probably your least favorite LeBron James shoe – the Low ST. Each year we are presented with the low top edition of LBJ’s signature sneakers, but when the Zoom LeBron IV had ruled the courts Nike decided to branch off and drop something new, something fresh, something perfect for casual, but not balling – Zoom LeBron Low ST. It would be difficult to create a low top of the IV’s, but I’m sure fans would like to see them give it a try. The ST’s have been blessed with a nice Las Vegas bundle in order to promote the 2007 NBA All-Star Game. There weren’t many PEs either, but most of them involved LeBron’s mom – Gloria James. We showcased two versions back when they surfaced to the Internet plus the third one the next year. This time… looking back at Gloria Low ST Player Exclusives we bring the final fourth version. It’s probably the most classic of them all as it features White and Pink colors… just like all others Gloria PEs.

Nike Zoom LeBron VI Low Safari Alternate U.S. Version »

Like some of you have already noticed the Safari colorway of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI Low has hit Finishline. However, there’s one very significant difference between the other version we wrote about yesterday and the one from FNL. The U.S. Version possesses a solid Yellow sole, which gives the shoes more prominent look and feel. Normally, we would think it’s just a sample picture that online stores tend to provide instead of real pics, but Finishline has been always right on point with pics presenting LeBron shoes. Photos from yesterday, the ones from China based store, are also real. Other online stores in that region, who provided pictures of the ZL6 Low “Safari,” feature the same shoe with Grey sole. So another possibility comes to mind… maybe it’s an alternate version for Asia/Pacific just like in the case of Aqua ZS3 (patent/no patent). But, in that case the Soldiers were labeled with different style codes and that makes them pretty much different shoes. This time both Safari Lows are marked as 354696-011 and we are very curious to see if the ones from FNL are really different in person. It’s only a color of the sole, the rest of the shoes is identical, but for some fans that’s a make or break kind of situation. While we seek for the answer… feel free to let us know, which ones do you like better? Pics of both after the jump.

Nike Zoom LeBron Cool Grey Safari Theme (ZS3 & ZL6 Low) »

Nike is releasing many new styles this summer and even the LeBron line has been affected. We profiled both Zoom LeBron VI Low and Zoom Soldier III in the Safari colorway on several occasions, however, this time we bring pics presenting actual production models that have hit stores in China. The Safari theme consists of Grey base with multi-colored speckled midsole, smoked Grey outsole and minor Yellow, Purple and Blue details. Expect to see them in stores in the upcoming weeks or even days.

Unusual Nike Max LeBron 7 Sighting on Flickr (Pure White) »

Resources on the Internet are endless. Sometimes you may learn amazing things in the weirdest places. Just like today when we came across this Max LeBron VII photos on Flickr. Apparently, Flicker’s cynroux is an artist, who received a pair of all white LeBron 7′s to do a custom paint job for some Nike project. The only thing coming to mind right now is… will they drop like this? They look hella clean!!! Thanks for info to Niketalk‘s us3Less.

LeBron James Wearing the Air Jordan IX PE at Kentucky Campus »

The last time we saw LeBron wearing these was back in High School playing for the Saint Vincent Saint Mary. Or Friday, LBJ spent the afternoon in the company of University of Kentucky Coach John Calipari as he made a mock “recruiting visit” to the UK campus. James, who did not attend college but was still the No. 1 pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, received a treatment similar to what a recruit would receive on a visit to UK.

Nike Zoom LeBron II Unreleased Prototype Version »

I wish we would get pics like that more often. Due to the power of the Internet we are familiar with the making of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI and of course its prototype version – Zoom Power. Back in the day things weren’t so easy. We were able to get a peek at the Zoom LeBron III Wear Test Sample, but as far as other shoes… zero, nada. Luckily, Nike Taiwan has published an internet catalog of selected Nike LeBron shoes and one of them is this prototype version of the Nike Zoom LeBron II. Overall the shoe looks very much alike the actual production model, aside of colors of course, but the sole is where the most significant changes were made. Click the title to see more pics.

LeBron James’ Nike Zoom Soldier 3 NBA Finals Edition »

Those lucky readers, who were able to cop the Finals ZSIII should be receiving thier pairs right about now. Our friend Tomas was kind enough to share his first impressions. The upper is a mix of three different leathers. Also, the straps have some kind of texture/pattern in the leather, which looks really good in person. Finally, we are able to see what the graffiti looks like. It has nicknames of some of the players on the Cleveland Cavaliers team (Mo, Big Z, J.J., Big Ben, Boobie). Who knows… maybe the whole team was supposed to wear them during the Finals. Too bad that didn’t happen. Another nice touch is “Reppin’ the East” written on the insole.
