When LeBron James took home his first ever NBA All-Star Most Valuable Player award he was wearing a special ASG edition of the Nike Zoom LeBron III. Back then only a handful of LeBrons were released to public (eight colorways) and three of them were very limited (China, Birthday, and All-Star). It was long before Nike started dropping 20 to 30 different styles like in the case of the most recent Zoom Soldier II and Zoom LeBron VI. Also, there was a small number of GRs available, but plenty of PEs and Samples. One of the Player Exclusive colorways was a special make up of the 3’s with Houston Map lasered on the upper due to the fact of hosting the 2006 NBA All-Star Game. In the past it was difficult to gather any pics, but thanks to Nike Basketball we are able to share some today.

Before LBJ’s 4th NBA Season, when everyone in the world was anticipating the release of the Nike Zoom LeBron IV, King James decided to make us drool by wearing an unseen, unreleased… almost unreal colorway of the LeBron 2. It was a preseason game vs the Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv. It’s been almost 3 years and no other footage of the shoes has ever leaked to the Internet… until TODAY! Seems like someone was able to obtain the grail of grails in the Nike LeBron world. NikeTalk member exclukicks11 was kind enough to share two photos showcasing not one, but two pairs of these Player Exclusives. See both shoes and game pics after the break.

The Mary J. Blige song “Stronger” that leaked in June now has an official home. It is the featured song on a new trailer for the LeBron James documentary, “More Than A Game.” “More Than A Game” tells the story of LeBron and four of his teammates from his Ohio high school basketball team. It follows the Cleveland Cavilers small forward throughout his pursuit of his NBA career. The movie is scheduled for an October 2 release. Written by Chris Brown, “Stronger” lyrics celebrate triumph and thank a partner for unyielding support through trials. It is unclear whether Chris wrote the song about enduring the scrutiny of his Rihanna assault or if the song was written after the incident. However, the record is good enough to begin shifting the public’s attention back to Chris’ music and could earn Mary and Chris a top 10 hit.

Last week King James was spotted out in Los Angeles wearing Nike Air Griffey Max 1’s in the Fresh Water colorway outside one of the best clubs in Hollywood – MyHouse. This year LeBron has been rocking Nike kicks for casual on several occasions. In previous years it was very difficult to spot him wearing sneakers apart from NBA game days. However, most of the time he’s kicking back with the low top Six. Pics via sneakernews.com.

But not by LeBron James. The Oregon PEs of the Nike Zoom LeBron II are not for the faint of heart. These have been known as probably the most expensive Nike LeBron shoes that public was allowed to see. Even the Dunkman II’s don’t fetch as much as these two special make ups designed for the University of Oregon basketball team – Oregon Ducks. Speaking of which… a pair signed by team’s finest has been spotted on ebay. Autographs of Aaron Brooks, Luke Jackson, Malik Hairston, Bryce Taylor, and more can be found all over the shoe. Check out more photos after the break. Also, there are some additional quality pics of both Oregon Player Exclusives courtesy of jamlji3. Thanks for the heads up to our reader Nick.

The more I look at the Black and White edition of the Soldier 3’s the more I fall in love with them. Those, who have been following LeBron James signature collection since day one surely remember a similar colorway of the Nike Air Zoom Generation – LBJ’s first Nike sneaker – consisting of White bottom and Black upper. That shoe, which dropped 5 years ago is already a classic and now we have an opportunity to witness another one. Plus, it doesn’t hurt the Nike Zoom Soldier III is a performance beast! Combined with an XDR outsole implemented in this special version, the ZSIII AP is even more durable. The only downside… it’s limited. Again, fans in Asia get to enjoy this exclusive release. But fortunately KIX-FILES.com has them listed at a very reasonable price without any “HYPE TAX” included. Ejnoy the actual photos of the shoe after the break. Exclusively at NikeLeBron.net.
