Nike Air Phantom – LeBron’s Next Sig Shoe – Possible Image »

With news like this there’s not much to say, really. Here’s the first image showing the upcoming Air Phantom. There are a lot of similarities between these and Nike’s previous basketball sneakers. For example… Nike Zoom BB 2 (collar) and even the Zoom Power (bottom). Of course, there’s a huge Swoosh present, which seems to be a standard in Nike shoes recently. Here are the specs. What do you think? Do you like this design? Please let us know. Photo provided by NT member fresh83.

Nike Zoom LeBron VI SVSM Away Alternate Heel Tab »

Here’s the second shoe that has been discovered today on the Internet. Is seems to be a sample colorway of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI SVSM Away Edition, which has been profiled recently. Away version is definitely the better one, and below you can see another variation of this shoe. The main difference is the heel tab. The previous model has IRISH on it, just like in the case of the Home, but today’s pair comes without any logos.

New Predominantly Black Summit Lake Hornets LeBron VI Colorway »

It’s almost time to say goodbye to the Nike Zoom LeBron VI… unless Nike will answer our prayers with a deserving MVP shoe for The King himself. Other than that it’s very unlikely to see any new models in stores. Of course the shoe will be present in our lives for a very long time. Personally, I have enough pairs for a couple years, at least. Anyway, this doesn’t mean we’ve seen it all. There are plenty of sample colorways, whose pictures, despite our mission, are impossible to find. Today, browsing though NikeTalk as usual, we’ve found this new unseen colorway, which could be another version implementing the Summit Lake Hornets theme. The pictures come from Chines store pd-shoes.com, but there’s no more information available. Btw here’s the other version, which did release couple months ago – SLH VI.

Nike Zoom LeBron VII (7) = Nike Air Phantom? First Update. »

There’s a big change coming with the seventh LeBron sneaker from Nike (sorry, no pics just yet). Fans will have to adjust to a completely new approach as the design doesn’t even mention the Zoom Air at this point! Just like last year there was the Zoom Power, which has transformed into the Zoom LeBron VI… this year the codename for LeBron James’ 7th installment is Air Phantom. The biggest change is the use of Flywire, and a new cushioning system called “Max 360″, which is going to be embedded in Phylon midsole. It is supposed to be an improved Max Air with a possible use of an additional Zoom Air unit somewhere inside. Of course everything is super-low, and super-light. Who knows… maybe they will be named Nike Zoom LeBron Max VII. Oh, by the way the MSRP will be $160, which would make it the most expensive LeBron sneaker ever. So far the closest was the ZLIV with the $150 price tag. The ZLV and the ZLVI were both $140. According to our sources, who have seen the shoe in person… it’s very VERY good. With The Six Nike played things safe, but the new design will be much more progressive. After all it might be the decision maker for The King whether to stay with Nike or not. His current contract expires next year. More info below, including a list of announced colorways…

  • UPPER: Combination of full-grain leather and synthetic leathers. Ultra-lightweight Flywire technology for support and strength.
  • MIDSOLE: Basketball specific 360 Air Max cushioning embedded in Phylon midsole.
  • OUTSOLE: Solid rubber outsole with maximum traction herringbone pattern.
