Join NLB.net FORUMS. Win a pair of Zoom LeBron V PE! »

The happy day has finally come! Today, we are proud to announce the start of the new feature here on NikeLeBron.net – Forums. We are reaching out to the community that this website originated from. At the same time we give you a chance of winning a Player Exclusive version of LeBron’s previous signature shoe – Nike Zoom LeBron V. It doesn’t get any better than this, does it? All you have to do to win a pair is register at the FORUMS and make at least one post (there’s a special say hello thread if you can’t decide where to do so). In about a month, after the All-Star Weekend, we will pick the winners, randomly among all registered users between now and the actual 2009 NBA All-Star Game. With limited resources that we are running this website we are giving away two pairs therefore there can be two winners. The prizes are: ZLV SVSM Home PE in size 10US (Promo Sample, not the HOH release!), and ZLV Fairfax Home PE in size 10.5US. You can find pics of both items on the next pages of this post. As for the Forums, here are couple features that come along:

  • Each registered member is allowed to start new threads and make new posts.
  • Forum users are integrated with the mainpage and can comment on posts using their own profiles.
  • Support for customs signatures and avatars including Gravatars.
  • … and all the other stuff that forums usually have – PMs, search tool, stats, etc.

We welcome you to leave feedback about our latest feature. After all it’s for the users and by the users and we would really like it to be that way. If you’ve found a bug or have a suggestion on how to improve the forums (or the website) feel free let’s us know. Thanks and please enjoy your stay.

Los Angeles Nike Zoom LeBron VI – Release Locations »

The “Tale of Three Cities” started back in November when the Big Apple Nike Zoom LeBron VI was scattered around the New York City. Last month, on LeBron’s birthday, the LeBron tour stopped in Miami for the release of the second shoe from the City Series. Next Monday, on January 19th, when King James is going to take on Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers, Nike will release the limited ZL6 L.A. Edition in the heart of California. Similar to Miami and New York VI’s, the Los Angeles edition will be released at 23 different locations throughout the city. Previously, we profiled two versions of the LA’s – with and without the “Rainbow Dunkman” logo. Although it seems like the logo version will be the one to release, keep your fingers crossed, hopefully someone might still change it on time. The locations include the following FootLockers including the House of Hoops LA, but remember many others stores will get them as well (NikeTown seems to be a sure thing).

  • House of Hoops, Los Angeles (Beverly Center)
  • LAKEWOOD CENTER: LAKEWOOD, CA
  • LOS CERRITOS CENTER: CERRITOS, CA
  • GLENDALE GALLERIA: GLENDALE, CA
  • FOX HILLS MALL: CULVER CITY, CA

King James to Appear on GQ Cover in February »

LeBron James has raised his fashion game. “You look good, you play good,” James said Monday after practice. “I was brought up that way.” James, who takes great pride in his wardrobe and tries to stay ahead of the style curve, will appear on the February cover of GQ Magazine — another first for the NBA superstar whose career has been defined by firsts. Posing in a slate gray suit, pink shirt and gray tie, James added the GQ cover to his run of magazine fronts from Sports Illustrated to Fortune to Vogue, in which he was the first black male to appear on the cover in the influential fashion magazine’s 116-year history. LeBron James, who has appeared on magazine fronts from Sports Illustrated to Fortune to Vogue, will grace the February cover of GQ. “It’s great,” he said of his GQ cover. “It shows that I’m fashionable. I never thought I would be on the cover of GQ. But I’ve done some things I never thought I would do.”
