The Ambassador Has Arrived. Initial Look at the Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador. »

LeBron has the full game, there’s no doubt. He has a lot of accomplishments already, but his game continues to evolve and his shoes have been growing up with him. In addition to the annual signature shoes (AZG, Zoom LeBron 2, and so on…) there’s also a post-season line (Zoom 20-5-5, Soldier, Soldier II), however, King James is about to introduce his new shoes – Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador. Ambassador’s material selection seems to be inherited from the previous Zoom 20-5-5 and it gives the same impression, that great outdoor shoe feeling with extra durable outsole. At first the looks felt similar to the recently released Zoom Soldier II, but the new pics show their uniqueness.

Second Stage Nike Zoom LeBron VI Sample Close-up Photos »

When the first teaser pics featuring the Black-White-Red Nike Zoom LeBron VI surfaced last week everybody believed they present the same shoe as LeBron James’ FINAL VERSION from the USA Basketball practice or Kicks magazine. However, after SneakerVault updated us with some new angles it’s clear now that these two share some similarities, but are much different from each other. This seems to be the second stage of the design before the actual product was made. Comparing to this one in the ‘third stage’ Zoom LeBron VI the Carbon fiber has been shortened, and there has been extra stitching added to the midsole. There are a few minor changes, for example a slightly different sole pattern with the Nike swoosh added on there. What do you think… which from the three designs – #1 | #2 (below) | #3 – is the best?

First Stage Nike Zoom LeBron VI Sample Detailed Look »

LeBron with the new Nike Zoom LeBron VI sure looks great on that cover of the Kicks magazine. But, lets look back for a while as I will try to place all the shoes in timeline as they evolved to the current and official version. The first stage, at least as we know it, was the shoe you see below. Based on the posite technology it looks like a true LeBron James signature sneaker taking some cues from the previous models like II’s and IV’s. I mean by just looking at it the resemblance is there. Anyway the design got scrapped by Nike and apparently it goes by the name Zoom Power now and it might be released as a separate shoe. This is not the VI, but looks like the fans will be able to cop it. This design has A LOT of enthusiasts already. We will be able to confirm or deny the rumors soon.
