We know LeBron James hasn’t exactly lit it up in the conference semifinals. In fact, his 7-of-20 showing Monday actually raised his shooting percentage for the series to .256. But The King filled in elsewhere quite nicely with 13 assists, six rebounds, three steals and a pair of blocks as Cleveland pulled into a 2-2 tie with Boston. LeBron once again had plenty of help. Gibson and Wally Szczerbiak added 14 points apiece, Varejao had 12 and made two awkward jumpers in the final 1:10 to put the Celtics away. There was an interesting event in the second quarter of tonight’s Cavaliers-Celtics game. LeBron James, on a breakaway dunk, was wrapped up by Paul Pierce. The two players became tangled and stumbled their way under the basket near where LeBron’s mother sits. Gloria James started yelling at Pierce for the hard foul on her son. Here’s the video with LeBron’s reaction where he’s telling his mother to “sit your (butt) down!”… a day after Mother’s Day.
