24-03-2008 Brand new look at the Nike Zoom Soldier II details

Take a look at Zoom Soldier II. The newest addition to King’s signature shoes series. Although LeBron’s summer line is just as good as the numbered performance wise, it’s completely different approach when it comes to style. Throughout the years the Nike LeBron sneakers have followed the example of LeBron’s phenomena as it was with the V’s - the map of Akron and milkcrate cross-strap.
Nike ZSII model depicts a new sole pattern called “Milkcrate Technology”, which is inspired by LeBron James’ childhood when he learnt how to play basketball using milkcrate hoops instead of real baskets. LeBron inspired details are everywhere, even the eyelets look like tiny milkcrates. Looming inside the sole is text Hickory - the street LRJ grew up on. King James’ several convictions - Family, Vision, Passion, Win, Fearless - which appeared for the first time in the ZSI, then in the ZLV are back. Now, these beliefs sit on the top of the tongue dethroning the crowned lion insignia, which is placed on the back of the shoe. Also, following the trends of Nike Basketball latest designs the Soldier’s swoosh wraps the heel just like in the case of new Kobe’s and Zoom BB 2. Props to kenlu.net for the photos.
