Nike Zoom LeBron V Mr. Basketball aka Tribute Showcase »

Just like we mentioned before the Zoom LeBron V Mr. Basketball edition was released at the House of Hoops yesterday. The shoes are the long awaited Tribute Pair to LeBron James commemorating his many accomplishments and showcasing themes very important to LeBron. This special colorway features numerous graphics including: 48.9.7 LeBron’s numbers from the memorable Game 5, MVP 2006 NBA All-Star Game MVP, 8000 youngest player to reach 8000 points, SVSM LeBron’s High School, The Chosen One LeBron’s nickname, Maximus name of his second son, Triple-Double and many more. The MrB V’s were produced in a very limited number and only sold in one store in the New York City – House of Hoops in Harlem. These sneakers are by far one of the coolest packages ever to be released. The box alone is probably the sickest part. It mimics a locker and the combination opens up at the number 23. How cool is that?! The shoes itself are enclosed in a sweet heavy set drawstring bag. Props to b.!.z for the pics, info and everything. More photos (thirty!) after the jump.

Zoom LeBron V “Mr. Basketball” Special Packaging Preview »

Yesterday when we posted the details about tomorrow’s special Nike Zoom LeBron V colorway we mentioned that the “Mr. Basketball” edition will come in a special packaging. It is a metal locker box that houses the shoes, which have an additional shoe bag to keep them fresh and clean. While the bag keeps the shoes clean the lock on the box keeps them safe. All the items included in the bundle are showcased on the pics below. Also, there has been a rumor that the releasing MrB is suppose to be a redesign from what we’ve seen already, but according to the featured pics it’s the same.

Update on the upcoming Mr Basketball and Yankees Releases »

The release of the “Mr. Basketball” Nike Zoom LeBron V is just two days away. We’ve received numerous questions about the details of the upcoming Nike LeBron House of Hoops premieres. To answer some of them here are the specifics. The Mr. Basketball aka Tribute ZLV will cost $250 and will come in a special packaging. The second version – New York Yankees edition will be $200, which is a little less than the first rumors reported. Both shoes will be available at the House of Hoops only, very limited! The quantity remains unknown, but there are some LeBron PEs that have even more units than those two. If you are planning to go to the HoH and get a pair here’s some more useful info. The Mr Basketball Nike Zoom LeBron V goes on sale at 10AM and the Yankees ZLV is scheduled to drop on 3/5 at 5PM local time. Another look at the Fairfax Nike Zoom LeBron V PE »

Some time ago we posted the initial pics presenting one of LBJ-sponsored High School V’s – Fairfax Player Exclusive. The first pics didn’t do justice to the shoes, that’s why today we present some better, high quality photos. The Fairfax Nike Zoom LeBron V feature soft, buttery black leather with a lot of PL. Yellow contrast stitching and eyelets along with red Patent Leather strap and outsole make them very unique looking shoes. Props to Sole Supreme for providing the pics.

New Nike Air Force 25 LeBron Player Exclusive »

New LeBron Nike Air Force 25, that LeBron James wore during media photoshoot, features a White leather upper with an embroidered L23 logo on the side. To add a little bit more pop they feature a red swoosh and a patent leather navy heel. Like most of the AF25′s seen so far the shoe has a translucent outsole. At this point it’s unlikely for any of the LeBron AF25′s to release, but things are moving really fast with all the House of Hoops exclusives so we’ll never know. NBA All-Star 2008 New Orleans Photo Recap: All-Star Game »

Surrounded by an abundance of friends and family members, LeBron James was the center of attention at the postgame photo shoot following Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game. With the game tied and under a minute remaining, James stole an errant pass, dribbled up the sideline and crossed the first defender in his path, Amare Stoudemire, at the 3-point line before rising up to dunk in the face of defender No. 2, Dirk Nowitzki. While JamesĂ˘ÂÂ slam is the play that everybody will most remember from the game, it is not the only reason he received top player honors. Like he has done all season, James showed the world why he is the league’s best all-around player, finishing with 27 points (12-for-22 shooting), handing out nine assists, grabbing eight rebounds, blocking two shots and making two steals. He fell one assist and two rebounds short of the first All-Star Game triple-double since 1997. Check out numerous photos below and this highlights video.

LeBron James wins MVP award in 2008 NBA All-Star Game »

Already the 2006 All-Star Game MVP in Houston and an NBA Finalist just last season, LeBron James continued to add to his impressive legacy last night at this year’s NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans Arena. For the second time in three years, he walked off with the All-Star MVP, narrowly missing an opportunity to join Michael Jordan, the only player in all-star history to post a triple double. Not only did King James finish with 27 points, eight rebounds and nine assists, but his dunk with 55.5 seconds left broke a tie and put the upstart East ahead to stay, en route to a 134-128 victory.

NBA All-Star 2008 New Orleans Photo Recap: Saturday »

Check out some random photos of LeBron James at the 2008 NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans from Friday’s and Saturday’s activities, including King James’ brief reign as half-court shot champion of the world. The Eastern and Western conference All-Star squads each selected a handful of players to attempt as many half-court shots as they could in one minute. James took jump shots from half court, hitting three. Jason Kidd also made three, all on underhanded heaves. However, hometown favorite Chris Paul usurped LeBron James and Jason Kidd as the leader in the friendly competition after the Western Conference All-Stars finished a brief practice on Saturday afternoon. He hit four.
