The Nike Zoom LeBron V Yankees Release Confirmed »

Few days ago we leaked some information about the Yankees ZLV releasing in the Spring. It has become offical now thanks to Darren Rovell of CNBC’s SportsBiz and Nike Spokesman Kejuan Wilkins. According to Wilkins, the “Yankees” Nike Zoom LeBron V, a follow up to last year’s ZLIV Graffiti NYC edition, will only be available in New York, but an exact release date has not been confirmed yet (probably March). The Zoom LeBron V NY Yankees features white pinstripes, James’ #23, and the best part, a crowd cheer behind the tongue of the shoe (“Le-Bron Jam-es, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap”). Fans in Cleveland are not going to be happy about this, especially since they still remember James showing up at the first game of the ALDS between the Cleveland Indians and the New York Yankees in a Yankees hat.
