For the first time during this FIBA Americas Championship, the United States allowed an opponent to post a triple digit scoring effort, but the Americans still managed a 27-point victory to remain undefeated in tournament play (5-0). LeBron James’ 16 third quarter points helped the Americans distance themselves once again, as the USA held a 101-78 lead after three.
